Productive day
Well today Lorin and I actually cleaned our garage. It had been needing it. We have been talking about doing it for months but just couldn't be bothered by such a long days work. Really... it didn't take as long as we thought it would. Earlier we went to our Sunday brunch. We then went to Petco to buy some doggie food for Archie. On our way there Lorin says uhoh they do pet adoptions on Sundays. I just simply nod not thinking anything of it, being that we just lost Ringo a few weeks ago, and knowing we have self-control...HA! Well we walked in and there they were Kitties for adoption. We just couldn't resist the cuteness! There were two gray and white kittens in a cage together who are brothers, a orange tabby kitten, another about a year old gray and white cat, and a white and brownish cat about a year old also. Well we are real saps. We not only adopted a new kitten but we couldn't break up the brothers so we adopted the both of them. Oy! Ironically, a few days back Lorin mentioned that when we are ready we should get two cats since we have two dogs. That way its a fair terrorizing. Also, while we were at brunch she mentions she had a dream where we had adopted a gray kitty...Huh! A little bit eerie because we adopted TWO gray(and a little bit white) kittens. So when we got home we got them settled in, let our dogs meet and greet(butt sniffing was involved) them. We started tackling the garage at about 430ish and surprising enough finished at about 8ish. We played with the new kitties a bit and there you have it, a productive day. As far as the new kittens go, we aren't replacing our little buddy but gaining some new members of the family. I Love our little family. Oh well thats all for now.

What a week!
Ahh its been quite a week. Lorin's mom was staying with us for her vacation. Let me just say arggggh. That was the most awkward visit yet. We went and saw a bunch of movies during the last week so we have been thoroughly entertained. Well one of our hobbies together is to cook. We enjoy it and plus its better than eating out everyday. Well for the last like 2 months we haven't cooked barely at all. Whenever Lorin's mom is in town we always end up going out to eat. Also the last 2 months have been stressful so we really haven't had the energy, motivation, or time to cook. So for the past two days we have been cooking together and its been wonderful. However starting on Sunday Lorin's got to be back at the Eldorado for the next 10 days or so. So she won't be home til late so there goes our next week for cooking together. Plus with her going there its super stressful (because of a certain someone) and she will be extra tired because of going to the one job to the other. I really want her to quit going there but we do need the money and she doesn't wanna fuck over anybody. Good news is that I am back in school at the end of August. Whahoo GI Bill money! Well thats about all for now.

Hmm
All I have to say is AWKWARD!!! Tonight went to 3rd street bar because Lorin's mom is in town and wanted to see her former coworkers and friends. Which sounds innocent enough. Well lets just say that things were a bit awkward between me and the guys that are also in love with my Lorin. They were definitely avoiding the shit out of me physically and in eye contact. One wouldn't even talk to Lorin unless I was not near her. The OTHER well he and I were civil which is a good thing. Lorin was apparently feeling a bit angsty all day today because she knew we would all be in the same place. I myself was a bit anxious as well. There is a long story behind this anxiety between all of us but I don't feel like getting into that now. I just can't be bothered. I think Lorin's mom knows something as well. Oh well! I did briefly chat at the OTHER while we were all saying our byes for the night. I think he gets it. I do. Lorin will probably read this and go..."what do you say to him"! Sorry hun but I'm just a stinker like that. Well that is all for now!

Goodbye to my cat
So yesterday when Lorin came home from work our cat(named Ringo but we never called himthat) was upstairs meowing but not like he normally does. So when we go up to check on him he's purring away but making a strange meow at us. He drags himself over to Lorin and thats when we knew something was wrong. Lorin freaks a bit and we take him off to the vet. When we get there they check him out and something is definitely wrong. He has no feeling or bloodflow in his back area. Assuming that he got hurt somehow(don't know how he could have possibly done that) they take some xrays. Well from the xrays the vet could see there was severe deterioration in his spine, which could have happened over time and him simply jumping down from the bed could have severed his nerves in that area. Well there were not a whole lot of options from that point. For sure he would never use his back legs again and if after surgery they could not resume bloodflow to his rear than he would die a most painful death. So we opted to do the most humane but sad thing we could do. We had to put him down. We are so very torn up about it. He was a member of our family not just a pet(even though he was a cat). Our two dogs have been in a bit of a slump as well. I think they miss him too! As for Lorin and I we buried him yesterday afternoon and we spent the rest of the evening crying and reminiscing about all the crazy shit he would do. We would even expect for him to do his lovey dovey stuff to us as soon as we sat on the couch. But...he wasn't there. So today is another day for us and I know the healing process is time. Eventually we will be ok with his death but for now its a sad time in our little family.

Hello to all....
Well this is my very first blog post so I will be brief. I got the idea to start posting blogs on here from my Love Lorin who also has a blogspot on here. I started reading the books written by a Russian author named Sergei Lukyanenko. The first book is called Night Watch, next is Day Watch, after that is Twilight Watch, and then there is Last Watch. Well they take place in modern day Russia and the main character is Anton Gorodetsky. In the books there are people known as the Others. They were human but have become something more. There are 2 groups of Others the Light Others and the Dark Others. There are 3 groups that the Others work for. The Night Watch which is where the Light Magicians or Light Others go. The Day Watch which is where the Dark Magicians or Dark Others, Vampires, and Werewolves go. And then there is the Inquisition which is where both Dark and Light Others serve to oversee the truce between the two watches. There is much more to tell but that would take away the fun of reading them which I would recommend to anyone. Well thats about all for now. I will post more later.
